CAMM is established at Luleå University of Technology based on strategic funds from the Swedish government within the strategic area Sustainable use of natural resources: mining and minerals. CAMM is a centre of excellence in mining and metallurgy and will build world class research within the field. CAMM will be evaluated after 5 years by the end of 2014.
